Using the app

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, post, comment, react or join a challenge. By participating, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines.

Your account and content

You are responsible for activity under your account and for content you submit. You keep ownership of your content, while granting Mental Static LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and moderate it as needed to operate and promote the community.

Acceptable use

Do not break the law, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property, harass people, exploit minors, upload malicious material, scrape the service or use the app to sell unauthorized products or services.

Changes and enforcement

We may remove content or restrict access to protect users, enforce these terms or comply with law. Features may change or be discontinued. Florida law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mental Static LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the app or third-party services. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

What the app handles

Account access may provide us with an authentication identifier, name and email. We store community posts, comments and reactions so the feed works. Daily mood check-ins and joined-challenge selections are saved only in your browser or device storage.

How information is used

We use information to provide accounts and community features, secure and moderate the service, respond to support requests and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information through this app.

Services and links

Hosting and sign-in providers process data needed to operate the app. Purchases and order data are handled through Shopify at mentalstatic.co under the store privacy policy. Gym search opens a third-party map service; Mental Static does not receive or store the location used by that service.

Your choices

You may decline notifications and still use the app. You can clear device-local check-ins through browser storage settings. To request access, correction or deletion of app community data, email us. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or dispute resolution.

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Education—not medical care

Mental Static content and community discussions are general educational information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, personal training, dietetic care or a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

Exercise carries risks including injury. Use appropriate equipment and surroundings, choose movements suitable for your ability, and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms. Seek emergency help when needed.

Nutrition examples are not individualized meal plans. Consider allergies, intolerances, medications, pregnancy, medical conditions and eating-disorder history with a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian.

Mental-health content is not crisis care. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support; call 911 for an immediate emergency.

Results vary. We do not promise weight loss, muscle gain, improved mental health or any specific outcome.

Respect every body

Be honest, constructive and respectful. Different bodies, identities, abilities, starting points and training styles belong here.

Not allowed

No hate, harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, doxxing, spam, dangerous challenges, medical misinformation, promotion of disordered eating, encouragement to misuse drugs or supplements, or instructions for self-harm.

Moderation

Posts may be reviewed, limited or removed. Accounts may be suspended for safety or repeated violations. Reports are reviewed in context; a report does not guarantee removal. For urgent danger, contact emergency services rather than relying on the app.

Clear expectations

Any future rewards program will have separate rules covering eligibility, earning, expiration, exclusions and changes before points have cash or discount value. Displayed concepts are previews until those rules launch.

Ambassadors must disclose their connection to Mental Static clearly whenever they receive payment, commission, discounts or free products. Honest opinions are required; health or performance claims may not be invented or exaggerated.
